On April 25th, Jumbo Kinetic set a new heavy lift record by lifting 3,000t during the test lift at the Huisman production facility located in Zhangzhou, China, marking successful delivery of a new generation heavy lift vessels.

The first Jumbo’s vessel of K3000 class, Jumbo Kinetic, is certified with 1A Finnish/Swedish Ice Class for operations in Arctic areas. The other K3000 vessel, Fairmaster, is due to enter service in Q3 2015.

Jumbo Kinetic is outfitted with dual 1,500t mast cranes which enable her to lift power to lift up to 3,000t at an outreach of 20m.

On December 21st 2014, Jumbo Kinetic was delivered from Croatian shipyard Brodosplit, and sailed directly to the Huisman facility in China.

Jumbo Kinetic’s next commercial voyage starts in Zhangzhou and consists of two consecutive trips to Samsung Heavy Industries facility at Geoje Island in Korea.
